My Hometown
I am originally from Modimolle, Limpopo, South Africa. Growing up in South Africa taught me the importance of hard work, family, and perseverance. My hometown is a place that I am proud to call home, and my experiences there have shaped the person I am today.
How I Ended Up at UC
I came to the United States as a student-athlete to continue my education while pursuing my passion for track and field. My journey brought me to the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky, where I study Business Administration. Being at UC has given me the opportunity to compete at a high level, meet people from different backgrounds, and continue working toward my academic and athletic goals.
My Relationship with the Internet
The Internet is an important part of my everyday life. I use it for school, communication, research, entertainment, and keeping up with opportunities around the world. As a student-athlete, I also use the Internet to stay connected with coaches, teammates, friends, and family back home in South Africa.
The Internet has made it much easier for me to learn, communicate, and stay connected even when I am far away from home. It also gives me access to information and resources that help me with both my education and my athletic career.
